Have had several Baggallini purses such as the Metro backpack and wanted one just a bit bigger. Has most of the usual storage compartments. Not any heavier than the others and well made. My only “complaint” is that it doesn’t open as far down the sides as the other ones and I miss the magnetic flap at the top which would secure the bag (a bit!) if not zipped. Sometimes I want to open it completely to see into the bottom of the bag .. not a deal breaker, just my preference.

This is a beautifully constructed bag….no defects and very spacious with a padded section to hold fragile tablets, iPads, etc.; also giving back comfort when worn as a backpack. The number of pockets for organization is wonderful. My main complaint is that the straps are overly long and cannot be sufficiently shortened to keep the bag from hanging well below my lower back when worn as a backpack. My husband’s suggestion was to use a carabiner, pulling the straps together across the chest, resulting in shortening the bag drop and happily also keeping the bag firmly against my lower back (no more flopping and banging against my “bum”. Baggallini really should consider a better strap design to accommodate people of all heights. I’m 5’4” for reference. The bag (at its shortest) just hit my husband’s lower back and he is 6’ tall. I had considered shortening the lower “ribbon-like” section of the straps but realized that would prevent me from using the bag for cross body wear…..won’t be altering it so the carabiner will be my solution. So carefully consider whether this bag is for you, “warts and all”.

Baggallini is a line you can truly depend on to make a quality travel and everyday lightweight small backpack. The first one I bought was about 8 years ago and because I use it so often, it is looking a little untidy - so I went on a hunt for a new one. I ordered different lines (because they looked comparable) and ended up by sending both back - since they were cheaply made or too big. I went back and finally found the exact Baggallini style I ordered 8 years back. This one they gave an option for the brass coloured zip pulls (which dress it up a bit) and added another zippered pocket. Baggallini bags are more expensive usually - but as the old saying goes - you get what you pay for!!! I own 4 of them in different styles. Absolutely love this bag!!!
